Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of new patients to understand their rehabilitation needs and goals, followed by creating personalized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities.
• Utilize techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to restore function, alleviate pain, and improve mobility.
• Closely monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Develop fitness and wellness programs that focus on long-term health, addressing not only physical rehabilitation but overall wellness and prevention of future injuries.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to enhance the quality of care, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach for complex cases.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with legal and facility standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Comfort Care, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse client base includes individuals of all ages who are looking to regain their strength, mobility, and function. You will play an essential role in supporting their recovery through customized care and rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's degree or Doctorate is preferred.
• An active State license in Physical Therapy.
• At least two years of professional experience in an orthopedic setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport with patients from varying backgrounds.
• Current knowledge of the latest treatment practices and physical therapy techniques relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific modalities such as dry needling, aquatic therapy, or advanced manual therapy techniques.
• Experience working with functional movement screens and assessments to develop targeted therapeutic interventions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document and track patient progress effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
