Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and individual requirements to promote tailored rehabilitation strategies.
• Manage a patient caseload with a focus on one individual per hour to ensure dedicated attention and quality treatment.
• Implement evidenced-based interventions that include hands-on manual therapy techniques aimed at improving patients' range of motion and functional mobility.
• Develop comprehensive care plans by utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's rehabilitation goals and lifestyle needs.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting care plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment sessions, and progress within EMR systems, specifically WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and streamline treatment processes.
• Encourage lifestyle modifications that promote well-being, improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Support patients emotionally throughout their treatment journey to motivate and engage them in their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, sports injuries, or chronic conditions that impede mobility. You'll work with diverse demographic groups, tailoring your approaches to serve individual needs effectively while fostering trust and rapport with your patients.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Impeccable professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques supported by a solid foundation in evidence-based practice.
• Exceptional competency in developing and implementing comprehensive exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, particularly the usage of WebPT, to ensure efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setup.
• Background in developing tailored treatment plans incorporating innovative and cost-effective therapy options.
• Experience in patient education regarding preventive measures and the significance of a healthy lifestyle.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
