Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation, utilizing advanced evaluation techniques.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans targeted at optimizing recovery, with a strong focus on outpatient orthopedic conditions and post-spine surgery rehabilitation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to collaboratively manage all aspects of patient care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to guide treatment interventions and demonstrate proficiency in patient rights, safety, and sanitation measures.
• Maintain professional relationships with peers, vendors, and ancillary services to ensure integrated patient care.
• Implement department policies and procedures while staying informed about relevant local, state, and federal regulations that govern physical therapy practices.
• Participate in community health initiatives and projects that promote wellness and education on physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; candidates with a Master's or Doctorate degree in the subject matter will be given preference.
• Active and unrestricted state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, maintaining good standing throughout employment.
• Current CPR certification is required upon hire or obtainable during the orientation process; ongoing certification must be kept current.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics, emphasizing rehabilitation post-spine surgery.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication to streamline administrative tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and make clinical decisions as required by patient needs.
