Seaport Orthopedic Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Pembroke Pines, Florida. This full-time position involves providing exceptional home care services to patients in the community. Work Environment

This position requires working onsite, primarily in a home care setting, where you will bring therapy directly to patients in their residences. The work hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, including assessments of strength, range of motion, and mobility limitations.
• Utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques and tools to formulate individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings.
• Designing and implementing personalized therapy programs that focus on restoring function, managing pain, and improving the overall well-being of patients.
• Incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercise regimens.
• Providing education to patients and their families on effective rehabilitation strategies, injury prevention methods, and the importance of home exercise programs.
• Collaborating with physicians, athletic trainers, and other healthcare team members to optimize treatment outcomes for patients.
• Maintaining clear and effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers to support seamless rehabilitation processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions, including those involved in sports-related activities. Your expertise will be essential in guiding these patients through their recovery journey, helping them regain mobility and confidence following their injuries.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position must possess:

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated clinical competence in orthopedic settings, including knowledge of sports medicine.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as members of the healthcare team.
• A passion for helping patients reach their rehabilitation goals, with empathy and commitment to their recovery.
• The capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy role is required, candidates with experience in orthopedic outpatient care or home health settings will be strongly preferred. Your practical exposure to similar environments will be beneficial in delivering high-quality patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
