Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' medical histories and physical abilities to accurately assess their condition and rehabilitation needs.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that align with each patient's recovery goals, while ensuring that your strategies reflect the latest best practices in orthopedic therapy.
• Use manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance mobility, strength, and functionality in your patient population.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and responses to therapy, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Monitor patients' advancements and modify treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, injury management, and wellness practices to promote long-term health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our facility, your primary focus will be on a diverse range of patients dealing with orthopedic issues, which may include post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and return-to-function cases. You will work closely with individuals across various age groups who require dedicated support to navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Candidates must be currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Strong manual therapy skills and the ability to perform assessments and intervention strategies effectively.
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the physical and emotional well-being of your patients.

Preferred Experience

• We are looking for candidates with at least two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, though three years is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and telehealth platforms is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
