Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all regulatory compliance frameworks, including HIPAA and Medicare guidelines, ensuring that all billing and coding procedures are correctly implemented.
• Engage in effective communication with patients, their families, and all members of the healthcare team—building relationships that are crucial for successful outcomes.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, focusing on tailored treatment plans that reflect the specific needs and progress of each patient.
• Thoroughly document every aspect of patient care, including clinical services rendered, billable activities, and correspondence to maintain an accurate and up-to-date patient record.
• Exhibit comprehensive clinical expertise and maintain high performance standards throughout all patient interactions, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with diverse patient populations ranging from pediatric clients to adults requiring rehabilitation for various physical ailments. Your ability to adapt treatment plans and apply specialized methodologies, particularly in trigger point therapy, will enhance the recovery journeys of our patients in a supportive and empowering manner.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Florida Physical Therapy License (FL PT License).
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is a minimum requirement; however, candidates with a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy will be preferred.
• At least one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting, demonstrating competency in various therapeutic techniques.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques, with a robust understanding of anatomy and physiology as it relates to patient treatment.
• Ability to effectively engage and work with pediatric patients, adapting therapies to their developmental needs and ensuring a comfortable care experience.

Preferred Experience

In addition to the required qualifications, candidates with experience in collaborative healthcare teams, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a background in innovative therapeutic approaches will be particularly valuable. The ability to excel in a fast-paced outpatient environment will contribute significantly to your success in this role.
