Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Physical Therapist to become an integral part of our team. Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is a leading physical therapy practice located in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Known for our state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet sports medicine facility, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Our team consists of experienced physical therapists and physical therapist assistants dedicated to delivering exceptional orthopedic care to our clients, who primarily possess private medical insurance. Our commitment to patient well-being and continuous improvement is the foundation of our practice.

Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite, primarily delivering care through home services, allowing for a personalized touch in patient interactions. You will work alongside two other physical therapists and a PTA, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that not only promotes teamwork but also ensures the best patient outcomes. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured work schedule that allows for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to identify patients' goals and establish individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and challenges.
• Manage a consistent patient caseload, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring that each session focuses on achieving defined therapeutic outcomes.
• Utilize diverse treatment techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to improve patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Reduce patients' dependency on medications by providing alternative rehabilitation strategies aimed at alleviating discomfort and enhancing functionality.
• Engage in continuous collaboration with other healthcare professionals to optimize comprehensive patient care and achieve better results.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, modifying care plans as necessary based on evaluation outcomes.
• Ensure meticulous records of patient care activities are maintained, aligning with compliance and regulatory standards.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, promoting a proactive approach to achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Design and recommend fitness and wellness programs that support ongoing recovery and health maintenance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, encompassing a range of conditions from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic injuries. You will work closely with each patient, building relationships that foster trust and understanding, allowing for tailored care that addresses not just their physical limitations but their personal goals as well.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with preference for candidates holding a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• An exemplary professional record without any history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities is highly desirable.
• Competence in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols to enhance patient recovery and wellness.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), especially WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, enabling you to bring practical insights that will benefit our patients.
• Experience managing a diverse patient caseload and providing individualized care plans tailored to meet specific patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by comprehensive benefits. These include health insurance plans, retirement savings options, and reimbursement for continuing education courses aimed at fostering professional development.
