Work Environment

Located in the heart of Pembroke Pines, our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center is fully equipped with the latest technology and treatment tools. You will be working in a dynamic, onsite setting that fosters collaboration and innovation. Your work schedule will primarily be from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, establishing personalized treatment plans that promote recovery and enhance mobility.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring each session is impactful and personalized.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to administer effective treatment protocols.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and wellness strategies, empowering them to take charge of their recovery process.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate care for patients.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere in the center.
• Implement evidence-based practices in all aspects of patient care, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic methodologies and outcomes.
• Lead patient workshops or group therapy sessions aimed at improving community awareness of physical health.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions. You will work closely with a diverse client demographic, including young athletes, active adults, and seniors looking to regain their functionality and independence after injuries. Understanding the unique needs and challenges faced by each patient will be essential in delivering customized therapy solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) software such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated ability to administer cost-effective therapies that improve functional outcomes.
• Familiarity with therapeutic approaches that minimize reliance on medications and advocate for non-surgical interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
