Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical function and limitations, utilizing the latest diagnostic and assessment tools.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique goals and requirements.
• Handle a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated attention to all aspects of their therapy.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and other modalities to facilitate recovery and improve mobility.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Document and track patient progress meticulously using EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care that addresses the multifaceted needs of patients.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes to adjust care plans as necessary, ensuring optimal results.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and healthy lifestyle practices that help enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work with a diverse client base, accommodating varying ages and backgrounds, which allows for a rich exchange of experiences and therapeutic practices. Your role is crucial in guiding patients through their recovery journeys, ultimately contributing to improved physical function and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree (DPT) is preferred.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Demonstration of an unblemished professional track record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is a must.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly regarded.
• Comfort and familiarity with evidence-based practice and the latest physical therapy methodologies.
• Ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Skill in creating specialized fitness plans that focus on rehabilitation and functional improvement.

Compensation and Benefits
