Orthopedic Physical Therapist | Full-Time on-site Role in North Miami Beach

Work Environment

Your role will be set in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, which boasts advanced therapeutic equipment and a team-oriented atmosphere. We operate on-site, and as a Physical Therapist in our organization, you will engage in direct, hands-on patient care while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to devise effective treatment strategies. The work schedule follows a standard Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM format, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations to identify and prioritize patients' functional limitations and rehabilitation goals.
• Design personalized treatment plans that incorporate a range of therapeutic modalities to promote recovery, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Implement progressive therapeutic interventions while continuously evaluating patient progress and adapting care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, self-management strategies, and preventive health measures to encourage long-term wellness.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their recovery process to achieve maximum functional independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to provide integrated patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and timely, maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including those who have undergone surgeries such as joint replacements, or those dealing with sports-related injuries and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be vital in helping these individuals regain their strength, mobility, and confidence to return to their daily activities, all while ensuring their treatment experience is supportive and encouraging.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong foundational skills in patient assessment, treatment design, and execution of care.
• Exceptional communication skills to foster patient rapport and effectively convey treatment plans.
• A compassionate attitude with the ability to connect with diverse patient populations.

Preferred Experience

• Previous exposure to team-based care environments in a rehabilitation setting.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and the ability to adapt them for individual patients.
• Previous experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
