Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Caring Physique Therapy Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing treatment programs targeting various specialties, including orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, neurological recovery, and sports medicine.
• Providing skilled therapeutic care, utilizing advanced treatment techniques and modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to continuously assess and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Conducting patient education sessions, teaching patients and their caregivers about exercises, home programs, and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Meeting established performance goals and contributing to the overall effectiveness of therapy services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in various stages of recovery. Your caseload will encompass individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, and patients with neurological conditions requiring specialized care. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals regain their independence and achieve functional restoration through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, ideally in an outpatient rehabilitation facility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and the community.
• Proficient in word processing and utilizing electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, we prefer candidates with additional experience in specialized therapy areas and those who have demonstrated a commitment to continuing education in physical therapy practices. Compensation and Benefits
