Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient evaluations to establish baseline functionality and identify goals, customizing treatment protocols to meet individual patient needs.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies, utilizing advanced techniques in orthopedic rehabilitation to facilitate recovery from musculoskeletal injuries.
• Monitor patient progress consistently, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes, and ensure each patient receives informed and effective interventions.
• Create fitness and wellness programs that encourage proactive health measures post-recovery, integrating strategies to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families throughout the treatment process, providing education on injury prevention and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for complex cases.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans, progress notes, and modifications to ensure continuity of care.
• Stay abreast of developments in physical therapy techniques and methodologies, actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. This includes individuals of various age groups, from children to seniors, each with unique needs and rehabilitation goals. Your role is critical in fostering a supportive environment that motivates patients to engage proactively in their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, with a demonstrated ability to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Strong assessment skills, enabling effective patient evaluations and treatment planning.

Compensation and Benefits
