You will engage directly with patients in private treatment rooms as well as in open therapy spaces that promote movement and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop customized treatment strategies.
• Create and implement personalized therapeutic plans that include active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, and functional training.
• Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises and activities of daily living, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Utilize various techniques such as manual therapy, massage, and stretching to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient progress and communicate regularly with healthcare team members to ensure a holistic approach to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries (e.g., joint replacements), those with sports injuries, and patients dealing with chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals. This role is essential in providing comprehensive care that fosters recovery and improves the quality of life for our clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active State Physical Therapy license.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop effective treatment strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
