Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, gathering detailed medical histories and assessing physical conditions to establish a baseline for treatment.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's recovery goals.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modality applications to improve patient mobility and strength.
• Document treatment progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with state regulations and maintaining accurate patient records for continuity of care.
• Regularly monitor patients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary in collaboration with healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques to enhance mobility and manage their conditions outside of therapy sessions, empowering them with self-care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will predominantly work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other physical impairments. You will focus on offering services across various age groups, assuring that your approach is tailored to meet the specific needs of each demographic—from young athletes to seniors recovering from joint replacements.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Compassion and empathy to advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being.
• Proficiency in using therapy modalities and exercise equipment to facilitate patient care.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic setting is preferred, showcasing a history of successful patient outcomes.
• Strong manual therapy skills, with demonstrated ability to implement hands-on therapy techniques effectively.
• Experience dealing with a diverse patient population and adapting treatment strategies accordingly.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
