Work Environment

As part of our home care team, you will provide therapy directly in the homes of patients throughout the Fort Lauderdale area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' objectives, limitations, and needs.
• Develop and administer customized treatment plans that promote recovery of range of motion and mobility.
• Manage a caseload of patients, typically seeing one individual per hour, to optimize treatment effectiveness.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and techniques to minimize pain and improve function.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise protocols, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote health.
• Regularly document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and necessary adjustments to care plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve cohesive care for patients.
• Encourage and motivate patients through the rehabilitation process, ensuring they adhere to their assigned home exercises.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

• Strong expertise in orthopedic manual therapy techniques, with a focus on rehabilitation.
• Exceptional skill in creating and implementing effective exercise protocols.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist within orthopedic outpatient or home care settings.
• Hands-on experience with rehabilitation equipment and modalities to enhance treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
