Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in a supportive home health environment where a small team, consisting of two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), collaborates closely to meet patient goals. Our daily operations prioritize teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning to provide the highest standard of care. The practice hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life integration for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations in order to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Meet with each patient one-on-one, managing a caseload that allows you to give personalized attention each hour.
• Implement and adapt treatment strategies focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation, utilizing manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, especially using WebPT.
• Actively monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on evidence and observed progress.
• Encourage patients in their journey to regain mobility and strength while prioritizing a healthy lifestyle through tailored fitness and wellness programs.
• Collaborate with and consult other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, documenting all encounters and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Physical Therapist will primarily involve working with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. You will guide individuals of various backgrounds and ages, taking into account their individual needs, capabilities, and rehabilitation goals. By providing targeted interventions, you play a pivotal role in reducing their dependency on medication and contributing to their long-term well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to develop effective exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a solid understanding of orthopedic conditions and treatments.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate patients and effectively communicate therapeutic interventions.
• Experience in developing and delivering wellness education and training programs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
