Work Environment

You will work within a home care facility, providing personalized therapies directly in the patient's environment, which enhances the rehabilitation experience. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a focused approach to patient care without weekend obligations.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Impact Physical Therapy, you will:

• Assess patients' physical abilities and limitations to identify individualized goals and needs, ensuring alignment with their rehabilitation objectives.
• Design and implement cost-effective treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques to improve mobility and overall function for patients with orthopedic injuries.
• Develop wellness programs tailored to patients, integrating fitness regimens to promote a healthy lifestyle and support ongoing recovery.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, providing regular evaluations and adapting treatment plans based on results and feedback.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including orthopedic specialists and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive and encouraging environment for optimal recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will involve working closely with clients of varying ages and backgrounds, tailoring interventions to meet their specific rehabilitation needs. You will be advocating for their health by enhancing their strength, flexibility, and overall physical function.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An Active State License to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, particularly in managing musculoskeletal disorders.
• Proficiency in patient assessments, treatment planning, and direct clinical care.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with patients, families, and healthcare peers.
• A strong ability to connect with diverse patient personalities, ensuring a tailored approach to rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with additional certifications in specialized orthopedic techniques, evidence-based practice, and experience with advanced rehabilitation technologies will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits
