Work Environment

The ideal work setting for this position will be onsite at our Rehabilitation Center located in the heart of Pompano Beach, Florida. Our team operates primarily Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, enabling a healthy work-life balance for our staff while allowing us to provide top-tier patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to establish individual goals and treatment plans based on their specific needs and conditions.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance range of motion and mobility, while actively reducing dependence on medications when possible.
• Maintain a consistent patient load, dedicating ample time and attention to each individual to foster relationships and provide personalized care.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs, to address diverse patient needs and ensure effective rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress accurately and efficiently, leveraging EMR platforms such as WebPT for streamlined communication and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide integrated care solutions for patients.
• Educate patients on wellness and prevention strategies to empower them in maintaining their health and enhancing their overall physical capabilities.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring a supportive environment that fosters recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary focus will be treating individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgical procedures, and sports-related injuries. You will engage with a diverse array of patients, each with unique recovery trajectories, ranging from athletes looking to regain peak performance to elderly clients seeking improved mobility and independence. Through tailored interventions, your expertise will guide them in overcoming their challenges.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with preference given for advanced degrees (MPT or DPT).
• Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and proficiency in designing effective exercise programs for diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to facilitate patient documentation and tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 95,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
