We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Pompano Beach, Florida. Work Environment

As a physical therapist at Phyxable PT, you will operate in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility equipped with the latest tools and technology necessary for effective treatment. The clinic fosters a collaborative work atmosphere where each team member plays a crucial role in patient care. Our weekday operating hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allow for a strong work-life balance while ensuring that we can deliver appointments at optimum times for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, using diagnostic tools and clinical judgment to assess their functional status.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient, employing methodologies such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize recovery, track outcomes, and ensure alignment with best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Instruct patients in proper techniques for rehabilitation workouts and home exercise programs, emphasizing injury prevention and long-term health benefits.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment progress, and educational sessions to comply with regulatory standards and facilitate collaborative care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a coherent approach to patient treatment, sharing insights and updates on patient status and progress in regular team meetings.
• Engage actively in professional development activities, including continuing education and training in the latest orthopedic treatment techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with musculoskeletal disorders ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Each patient's treatment may include acute injuries, such as fractures or post-surgical recovery from orthopedic procedures, enhancing your ability to make significant impacts in their rehabilitation journeys. Strong interpersonal skills will enable you to foster lasting relationships with patients, guiding their recovery with empathy and expert knowledge.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's or higher degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience as a physical therapist, particularly in orthopedic settings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, pathologies, and rehabilitation strategies.
• Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• The ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• A compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or the capability to obtain certification upon hiring).

Preferred Experience

• Experience using evidence-based practice to develop tailored treatment programs.
• Proficiency in utilizing rehabilitation technologies and equipment.
• Previous experience working in diverse clinical settings is an asset.
• A strong foundation in patient education and advocacy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
