Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in a home care setting, allowing you to provide individualized therapy in the comfort of your patients' homes. Our patient-centric focus means you are not only a therapist but also a trusted ally who motivates patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balanced work-life schedule while providing you with the necessary time to focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, and establish treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs and medical history.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, maintaining a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure dedicated attention and quality care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to improve patients' range of motion, strength, flexibility, and overall functionality.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programming, to address orthopedic concerns effectively.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all services and outcomes accurately in our EMR system.
• Educate patients and their families on health promotion, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications to foster a healthy, active lifestyle.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care strategies and optimize patient outcomes.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, celebrating milestones and enhancing overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Physical Therapist at Active Life Orthopedic Physical Therapy, you will primarily focus on patients with orthopedic concerns. This may include individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or seeking to improve their mobility due to injuries. Your empathetic approach and specialized expertise will play a crucial role in helping these patients restore their independence and enhance their functionality.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A clean disciplinary record with no history of board actions affecting your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the design of effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for efficient patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings will be highly valued.
• Familiarity with innovative therapies and modalities that enhance patient recovery and outcomes.
• Experience in developing fitness and wellness programs tailored to injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
