Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Home Care Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Rehab Innovate PT Clinic in Coral Springs, Florida. This full-time position focuses on delivering personalized care to patients in a home care setting, where you will play a vital role in helping individuals regain their full range of motion and improve their quality of life. Your expertise will be invaluable as you work closely with patients to develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at maximizing their mobility and functional independence.

Work Environment

This position will be based onsite, providing home care services directly to patients in their residences. This allows for a unique and personalized approach to rehabilitation, where you can assess each patient in their home environment. Working one-on-one with patients will enable you to adjust treatment strategies according to their individual lifestyles and specific needs, ultimately leading to more effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to understand each patient's specific goals and needs.
• Manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring quality, individualized care.
• Develop and implement detailed, evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation exercises, focusing on enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and physicians, to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure consistent treatment approaches.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on patients' progress.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans thoroughly within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, specifically WebPT, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and their families on self-care strategies to promote long-term wellness and injury prevention.

Our clinic specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, serving a diverse range of patients who may be recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or other orthopedic conditions. Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• History of maintaining a clean professional record without any disciplinary actions against licensure.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in using EMR Software, particularly WebPT, to document patient care services.

Preferred Experience

While all applicants are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to candidates with previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Familiarity with home care rehabilitation will be an asset in this role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting closely with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
