Work Environment

This role is strictly onsite, with services delivered directly in patients' homes. Our home care environment allows for personalized therapy sessions while ensuring comfort and convenience for clients. You will work in close proximity to patients, providing immediate feedback and adjustments to their therapy regimens based on real-time assessments. As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with caregivers and family members, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of clients' physical abilities and limitations, utilizing standardized assessment tools tailored for orthopedic conditions.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans, modifying approaches based on each patient's progress toward their goals.
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to aid recovery.
• Teach patients and their families appropriate at-home exercise regimens and self-care strategies that enhance treatment outcomes.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and collaborate on comprehensive treatment solutions.
• Accurately document patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with both company and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients experiencing musculoskeletal injuries, pain, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic conditions. You will work with patients of all ages, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors managing chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will not only focus on rehabilitation but also on educating patients about injury prevention and wellness strategies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure in the state of Florida to practice physical therapy.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in orthopedic settings, including internships or residencies.
• In-depth knowledge of orthopedic conditions, manual therapy techniques, and pain management modalities.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.

Preferred Experience

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly desirable.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic approaches, such as McKenzie Method or trigger point therapy, will be considered an asset.
• Experience in home health care settings preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of $90,000 – $120,000 , commensurate with experience. In addition, our benefits package includes:
