Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, as you will be providing home care to patients across Delray Beach, Florida. You'll be working directly in patients' homes, allowing you to establish meaningful connections in a familiar environment for them. This setting requires adaptability to different home environments and the ability to utilize limited resources effectively while still achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' medical histories and current physical status to identify areas for improvement and establish baseline measurements.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals, integrating both evidence-based techniques and innovative therapies.
• Implement and supervise therapeutic exercises aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and overall function, tailored to individual patient capabilities.
• Utilize diverse manual therapy techniques, including trigger point therapy and dry needling, to reduce pain and facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients about proper body mechanics and safe exercises for continued care, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans to ensure the highest quality care.
• Maintain detailed and organized records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, such as joint replacements and sports injuries, as well as those managing chronic orthopedic conditions. Your role is crucial in devising effective rehabilitation strategies to facilitate recovery and enhance life quality across various age groups.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide effective patient care across diverse age groups, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs and goals.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
