Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, where you will provide care directly in patients' homes. Our work environment fosters collaboration and communication among healthcare professionals to ensure that each patient receives the highest standard of care. The flexible work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allows our therapists to balance their case load efficiently while dedicating quality time to each patient's needs.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your core responsibilities will include:

• Developing individualized care plans based on thorough assessments of patient conditions, ensuring that treatments address specific limitations and pain points.
• Implementing a variety of treatment techniques and modalities tailored to enhance patients' mobility and strength, including hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of assistive devices.
• Motivating patients through their rehabilitation journey, establishing achievable goals, and monitoring progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Educating patients and their families on exercises, lifestyle changes, and preventive measures to maintain health and mobility post-recovery.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Providing documentation and conducting regular evaluations to track patient progress and program effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your role is crucial in facilitating their recovery and enhancing their overall mobility, ensuring that each individual has the tools and support they need to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active state license in Florida as a Physical Therapist.
• At least two years of relevant experience focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and implement effective treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
