This full-time position focuses entirely on home care, enabling our therapists to work closely with patients in the comfort of their own homes. Work Environment

This position requires working predominantly onsite in a home care setting, offering an intimate and personalized approach to therapy. As you visit patients at their residences, you will create a comfortable atmosphere that encourages healing and collaboration. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their unique goals, needs, and challenges.
• Manage a patient caseload, averaging one individual per hour, to ensure tailored, focused care.
• Devise and implement effective treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices, ensuring the highest quality of care.
• Perform manual therapy techniques and develop exercise protocols designed to optimize range of motion and strength for your clients.
• Foster independence in patients by motivating them through their therapeutic journeys, enhancing their physical functions.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment services meticulously, utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress with regular evaluations and adjust treatment approaches as necessary to enhance effectiveness.
• Engage patients in discussions about lifestyle choices and health, promoting overall wellness and preventive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with diverse patient populations, primarily those with orthopedic conditions requiring rehabilitation. Our patients may present with post-surgical recovery needs, sports injuries, chronic pain, or conditions affecting mobility. Being an advocate for their health and well-being, you will play a significant role in facilitating their recovery processes through personalized and evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Must possess a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a clean professional record free from board or disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional skill in manual therapy and a strong grasp of therapeutic exercise protocols are essential.
• Proficiency in relevant EMR software, specifically WebPT, to ensure accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Experience working within a home care environment will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
