Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to thoroughly assess their physical conditions and understand any symptoms or functional limitations they may be experiencing.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and collaboratively create tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
• Educate patients on proper therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand their exercises and the importance of compliance for recovery.
• Utilize advanced treatment modalities, including hands-on techniques, massages, and physical stimulative methods to promote healing and improve mobility.
• Assist patients in utilizing mobility equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers, fostering independence in their daily activities.
• Maintain accurate patient records to monitor goals and progress, ensuring that each patient's journey is documented and revisited during sessions.
• Provide guidance to patients and their families regarding at-home treatment options and exercises to promote continued recovery outside of therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will be applied to a varied client base, including children with developmental concerns, adults recovering from surgery, and elderly patients managing chronic conditions. Each patient's treatment plan will be customized according to their unique circumstances, emphasizing holistic recovery and functional improvement.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively facilitate patient education and family consultations.
• Proficiency in various computer systems and electronic health record (EHR) software for maintaining up-to-date patient information.
• Ability to adapt flexibly to changing patient needs and schedules.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is required, we welcome new graduates as well, as we provide comprehensive mentorship programs to facilitate your growth.

Compensation and Benefits
