Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify their individual goals and treatment needs.
• Create and implement patient-specific treatment plans that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and educational resources.
• Manage an efficient caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused and personalized care.
• Utilize advanced treatment methods to maximize the range of motion and overall mobility.
• Possess a strong understanding of non-surgical interventions to minimize reliance on medications and promote alternative treatment options.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment provided meticulously to ensure continuity and compliance with practice protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, addressing all aspects of patients' health.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes through regular progress assessments, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize rehabilitation success.
• Encourage and motivate patients in maintaining an active lifestyle through tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Stay updated with advancements in orthopedic physical therapy practices and integrate them into treatment for improved patient results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary client focus is on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. We primarily serve patients who have private medical insurance, allowing us the flexibility to provide comprehensive care without the constraints typical of larger medical facilities. As a part of this role, you will engage with various demographics, tailoring treatment methods to account for the individual needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions or complaints against your license.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol design is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, specifically in home care services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in creating personalized patient wellness plans that account for chronic conditions and rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
