Rehab Innovate PT Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This full-time role focuses on delivering personalized care to enhance patients' mobility and quality of life. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with other physical therapists and support staff to develop effective treatment plans, foster rehabilitation, and promote wellness.

Work Environment

The clinic operates within a modern rehabilitation facility that is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and tools necessary for patient assessment and intervention. As part of a cohesive team that includes two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive atmosphere focused on innovation and continuous improvement. This position is primarily onsite, allowing for in-person patient interactions and collaborative discussions with team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals, needs, and physical limitations.
• Manage a patient caseload, averaging one patient per hour, providing dedicated time for assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
• Develop customized care plans that integrate various therapeutic modalities, aimed at restoring optimal function and mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions, motivating patients throughout their recovery.
• Design and implement individual fitness and wellness programs that prioritize the patient's health goals.
• Educate patients on their conditions and treatment strategies, emphasizing lifestyle modifications for long-term health.
• Document and evaluate treatment outcomes meticulously, maintaining clear communication with patients and other healthcare providers.
• Work in close collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a member of our clinic, you will predominantly work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our patients range from active individuals who want to regain their pre-injury performance levels, to older adults focusing on improving their mobility and overall physical health. Each patient is treated with respect and dignity, focusing on personalized rehabilitation strategies that empower them to take charge of their recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy and formulating evidence-based exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience within orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing diverse treatment modalities and rehabilitative techniques.
• Experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
