Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite with clients in their home environments, providing personalized one-on-one therapy. Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Provide hands-on, one-to-one patient care, utilizing specialized techniques, including trigger point therapy, to address complex physical challenges.
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including clinical services, billing records, and communication with stakeholders to comply with regulatory standards.
• Apply extensive clinical knowledge during patient interactions, continuously evaluating and adjusting treatment protocols based on patient progress and responses.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA regulations, Medicare policies, and proper billing and coding practices, to maintain the integrity of care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population that may include pediatric patients as well as individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic health issues. Understanding the specific needs and challenges faced by each client is crucial in developing effective treatment strategies and fostering an environment where patients feel empowered to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required. A Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Current Florida Physical Therapy License in good standing.
• At least one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital or home care setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and a solid understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to effectively engage with pediatric patients, adapting treatment approaches as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a home care environment is a plus, as it involves unique challenges and rewards.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and coordination.
• Advanced training in pain management or specific physical therapy methodologies, which can enhance treatment effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits
