Administrative Assistant Full Time MO - Boonville, Boonville, MO, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 9261 Salary Range: $15.50 To $20.00 Annually Location: Supporting Columbia, Vandiver, and Boonville Education Programs in Columbia and Boonville Pay: $15.50–$20.00 per hour (determined by education and experience) Position Summary The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support for KVC Missouri’s Central Education Programs. This role supports daily office operations, maintains accurate records and documentation, assists staff and leadership, and helps ensure efficient program coordination in a trauma-informed educational environment. Education & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required Minimum of six (6) months of clerical experience Two (2) years of administrative experience preferred Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Licensure/Certification Valid driver’s license Experience & Skills Ability to type at least 60 words per minute Experience using office equipment and computer software Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally Experience working with children and families in a trauma-informed environment preferred Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting Requirements Must be at least 21 years old to apply Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required Essential Functions Maintain confidential files, records, and non-routine information Perform general office duties including answering phones, ordering supplies, maintaining office inventory, and assisting internal and external customers Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, charts, and other documents with attention to grammar and accuracy Maintain databases, census boards, tracking systems, and filing systems Process billing, purchase orders, checks, credit card requests, and receipts Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and interoffice communications Assist with travel arrangements, meeting coordination, agendas, rosters, and meeting minutes Support compliance with administrative procedures and organizational standards Assist with vendor research and cost comparisons Process student enrollments, disenrollments, admissions, and discharges for school programs Maintain program files and prepare closed cases as needed Assist with website updates and program documentation when applicable Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission of KVC Missouri Why KVC?
