Human Resources Benefits Coordinator (Entry-Level) Launch Your Career in Human Resources Are you looking to start or grow your career in Human Resources? This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, customer-focused professional who is eager to gain hands‑on experience supporting employee benefits, leave administration, HR systems, and employee services. You'll work closely with employees, insurance providers, and internal teams while building a strong foundation in HR operations with opportunities for professional growth. What You'll Do Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and insurance vendors, assisting with benefits-related questions via phone and email. Process employee benefit changes for qualifying life events, including marriage, birth, and other Section 125 changes. Administer Medical Support Orders and assist with life insurance claims. Support Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration by reviewing documentation and approving or denying leave requests in accordance with company policy and federal regulations. Coordinate the employee service award program by partnering with vendors to maintain award selections and ensure accurate billing. Enter and maintain employee information within the HRIS (Oracle) while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Prepare reports, process documentation, and support HR recordkeeping. Interpret HR policies, benefit plan documents, and applicable regulations while providing excellent customer service to employees. Collaborate with the HR team on additional projects and responsibilities as needed. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required; coursework or interest in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Typing speed of approximately 45 WPM. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a passion for helping others. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to handle confidential information professionally. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Previous office, customer service, administrative, benefits, or claims processing experience is helpful but not required. Experience with HRIS systems such as Oracle is a plus but not required. Why This Opportunity?
