Manager - Microsoft Business Development

Job Summary The Manager of Microsoft Business Development manages all sales activities with a focus on meeting targets, building and leading a professional sales team, and executing strategies for growth. Responsibilities Meet sales targets Build and lead a professional sales team (recruit, hire, and train new employees) Manage team performance, coach, motivate, and mentor the team Execute sales motions, campaigns, and drive exponential growth Develop and implement sales strategy to grow business with existing customers and acquire new customers Drive partner field engagement by establishing and developing strong partner relationships Engage internal company resources (e.g., marketing) to create brand awareness Oversee accurate pipeline management Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to customers Schedule and attend customer appointments Lead cross‑functional collaboration and decision‑making processes Qualifications Completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of technology sales experience with a proven track record in attaining sales goals and quotas Highly focused on customer solutions and satisfaction; experience working with C‑Level executives Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 1+ year of management experience preferred Excellent time‑management, planning, and organizational skills Strong problem‑solving, presentation, and consultative sales skills Self‑motivated with ability to work independently Ability to think ahead, plan long‑term decisions, and anticipate outcomes Excellent presentation skills; ability to communicate complex ideas effectively Strong negotiation and collaboration abilities; ability to drive consensus Leadership: experience managing team initiatives and driving performance Analytical thinking: ability to use advanced techniques to draw insights and communicate solutions Adaptability: leading teams through change and fostering a culture open to change Benefits & Compensation The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $220,000, which includes a base salary and commissions.
