Description:We are actively seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician.The provider will float between two facilities.The biggest need is for night shifts.Best availability will be prioritized.Trauma level: 3.Total number of beds: 32.Annual ER volume: 55,000.EMR used: Meditech.The EM physician schedule includes 12-hour, 8-hour, and 11-hour shifts.The Emergency Medicine physician is not responsible for codes.Admissions are performed by the hospitalist or admitting service.APP coverage is available.Approximately 30% of ED patients are admitted to the hospital per day.Client bylaws require a specific response time for on-call physicians within 30 minutes.Deliveries are sent directly to the Labor and Delivery unit.The Emergency Department is responsible for monitoring and supervising paramedics and ambulance by radio.
