Registered Nurse - Psychiatric

Job Summary:
Provide mental health care and support to patients in a psychiatric setting on a per diem basis. Deliver safe, effective nursing interventions while ensuring compliance with clinical standards and facility policies.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
• Monitor patient behavior and mental status, documenting changes accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license required.
• Prior experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a Per Diem basis.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Commitment to meeting compliance and regulatory requirements within specified timeframes.
• Ability to adapt to minimal requirements while maintaining quality patient care.
