Senior Manager, Talent Development - Premier Law Firm

A leading global law firm is looking for a sharp, relationship-driven talent professional to own attorney development across its Litigation Department. You'll sit at the intersection of people, strategy, and data, advising Practice Group leaders on retention and performance while serving as a go-to resource for associates and counsel navigating firm life. This is a role for someone who earns trust quickly, thinks strategically, and knows how to get things done inside a large, fast-moving organization. A background in legal HR or personnel is the typical path in, but attorneys looking to move into talent are equally welcome. Responsibilities Build and sustain an environment where attorneys at every level feel supported, challenged, and connected to the firm's culture and long-term vision Drive the annual review cycle from start to finish, ensuring evaluations are substantive, consistent, and tied to meaningful development outcomes Design and oversee mentorship programming that creates real career pathways, not just check-the-box pairings Lead lateral integration so that incoming attorneys hit the ground running and feel part of the team from day one Use attrition data, exit conversations, and performance trends to identify issues early and bring solutions to leadership before small problems become big ones Partner across Finance, Recruiting, Professional Development, Inclusion, and Business Development to translate insights into initiatives that actually land Qualifications 5-10 years in a large law firm environment, with direct experience in talent, HR, or practice group management A natural communicator who moves fluidly between conversations with senior partners and junior associates Highly organized and self-directed, with sharp instincts for prioritization when everything feels urgent Comfortable working with data and financial reporting to tell a story and drive decisions What matters most is someone who understands how great law firms work and is genuinely invested in helping attorneys do their best work #J-18808-Ljbffr Coda Search│Staffing
