Business Development Manager - Financial Wellness Solutions

As a Business Development Manager within PNC’s Financial Wellness Solutions, you will be primarily based in Los Angeles, CA. PNC Financial Wellness Solutions offers a comprehensive suite of solutions to meet the needs of various businesses and their employees. In this role you will develop and drive a financial wellness program aligned with organizational goals and objectives, providing innovative solutions including health and benefit accounts, student debt solutions, earned wage access and other financial wellness offerings. Responsibilities Employ a consultative‑based sales approach to acquire new business relationships with clients across professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, and general services. Work directly with knowledgeable client services teams and partners to support the growth of a book of business. Acquisitions, expansions, and retention of client relationships to generate revenue, deepen share of wallet, and increase client engagement and loyalty. Handle origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of non‑credit products and services. Manage risk/return, actively identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, and operational risks, and present the full range of PNC’s products and services. Leverage reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and convert sales opportunities, provide industry benchmarking, and position solutions effectively. Qualifications University or college degree with 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience. Ability to build and manage a client book of business and maintain client relationships. Strong financial analysis skills and ability to evaluate financial wellness solutions. Proficiency in client relationship management, prospecting, and sales negotiation. Excellent communication, decision‑making, and critical‑thinking abilities. Tech‑savvy approach to using sales tools and reporting. Preferred skills: Book of Business, Client Relationship Building, Credit Processes, Credit Products, Customer Engagement, Identifying Sales Opportunities. Preferred competencies: Business Acumen, Client Relationship Management, Customer Experience Management, Effective Communications. Certifications are not required but may be considered. Compensation and Incentives Base Salary: $76,500.00 – $127,500.00. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
