Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and develop individualized therapy strategies that support their functional achievements
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to bolster patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily activities
• Partner with Interdisciplinary Professionals: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver thorough, holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones on therapeutic practices to ensure continuous improvement in the home environment
• Track and Assess Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and modify approaches as necessary to keep patients aligned with their goals

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or additional certifications encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
