Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite engagement within a school facility in Las Vegas, NV, showcasing our commitment to addressing the health needs of diverse populations, including young women and adolescents. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers in a stimulating setting that promotes teamwork and collaboration. Our clinic hours are designed to accommodate the needs of our patients, with standard shifts primarily from 9 AM to 5 PM—including occasional evening and weekend shifts as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial patient assessments by taking detailed histories and performing comprehensive physical examinations.
• Develop, document, and communicate individualized plans of care, ensuring clear communication with patients and follow-up on their progress.
• Perform daily rounds, providing patients with continuous support and assessment of their health status.
• Order necessary medications, laboratory tests, and diagnostic procedures, while interpreting results to make informed clinical decisions.
• Collaborate closely with attending physicians, other nurse practitioners, and healthcare staff to optimize patient care quality and continuity.
• Prepare and document discharge summaries, prescriptions, and referrals to other specialists or services as required.
• Deliver essential post-discharge care instructions to patients, ensuring they understand and can adhere to their follow-up care plans.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending relevant trainings and workshops, enhancing knowledge and skills pertinent to women’s health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily support a diverse clientele in the realm of women’s health. This includes addressing issues ranging from reproductive health to chronic conditions, ensuring a holistic approach to care that respects cultural differences and individual patient needs. You will be instrumental in providing preventative care, education, and support to empower women in making informed health decisions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required, with a MSN (Master’s of Science in Nursing) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program preferred.
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification in Women’s Health and valid licenses to practice nursing in Nevada.
• Collaboration agreement and relevant certifications, including BLS certification, are required for clinical practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in women’s health or a related specialty.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and engaging in collaborative care models.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems that facilitate effective patient management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $220,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package that features:
