About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, 20774!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2 Years Preferred License: Active State RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: - Charge Experience Preferred - Travel Experience Required Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment providing care for a wide variety of complex patient diagnoses. The role involves managing patients in a high-volume setting with admissions from the emergency department. Nurses will provide care within their scope and specialty, including telemetry and intermediate care. Daily patient ratios will be 1:6. Nurses are expected to float within their scope as required. Weekend shifts every other weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled are required. The average daily census will feature a minimum of 10 patients and can go up to 40 patients daily. Candidates must possess skills in cardiac telemetry, IV management, and care of ventilated patients. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and proper management of various patient care procedures. Additional skills in wound care, drug administration, and monitoring of vital signs are necessary for successful candidates. Nurses will collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Compliance with certifications and licensing is crucial for employment in this role.
