Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify client needs and formulate customized treatment plans tailored to individual, couple, and family dynamics.

• Provide therapy and counseling sessions using evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and relational therapy approaches.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and psychiatrists, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

• Document clinical progress, treatment plans, and evaluations in compliance with organizational standards and HIPAA regulations, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality.

• Engage in clinical supervision sessions and continuous training opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on industry best practices.

• Participate in community outreach programs, promoting mental health awareness and providing resources to those in need.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. The therapist will provide therapeutic support to couples navigating challenges in their partnerships, as well as families seeking to improve communication and resolve conflicts. Qualifications\n

• A recognized Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid and current LMFT license in the state of New York.

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, specifically in direct counseling settings, with a focus on providing therapeutic interventions targeted towards families and couples.

• Proven knowledge of contemporary therapeutic procedures, particularly solution-focused interventions and strengths-based approaches.
