Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule that meets the diverse needs of our clientele. As an LMFT at Watertown Regional Counseling Center, you will enjoy full autonomy in managing your caseload while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of skilled professionals. This position is designed to accommodate various schedules with evening hours available, particularly from 4 PM to 7 PM, aimed at increasing accessibility for clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions remotely, utilizing effective therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating wellness strategies that emphasize client strengths.

• Provide skills development sessions focused on anger management, coping techniques, and social skills aimed at reducing high-risk behaviors in clients.

• Work collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other stakeholders to support clients effectively in various situations.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to organizational and legal standards.

• Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss cases and contribute recommendations for improving client services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our services cater to a diverse population, including both adults and youth facing various challenges affecting their mental health and wellness. The LMFT will engage with clients experiencing a range of issues, from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges and behavioral concerns. The position focuses on building strong therapeutic alliances that facilitate healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related mental health field is required.

• Current, active, and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory to ensure compliance with state regulations.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are necessary for potential in-home therapy sessions.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required before employment.
