What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive legal support to attorneys within the Trust and Estates Practice Group. Prepare probate pleadings, legal documents, and maintain client files, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Marshal inventory and manage the distribution of assets. Handle IRS forms, including gift tax (709) and estate tax (706) returns. Record deeds and documents with courts and utilize E-Filing systems. Proofread all correspondence and legal documentation for precision and quality. Assist with billing tasks, including preparing invoices, cover letters, and maintaining client billing records. Communicate daily with clients in a professional and confidential manner. Prepare documents for client signings and ensure all required paperwork is finalized on time. What You’ll Bring: Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a law firm setting supporting Trust and Estates Practice Groups. Skills: Strong written communication, organizational skills, and the ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume workload. Initiative: A proactive approach to tasks and the ability to manage competing deadlines effectively. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IRS forms, E‑Filing, and billing systems.
