Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Cath Lab RN

On-call required: Yes (7 call days per pay period — 2 nights/week + 1 weekend every 2 weeks)

Requirements:

• Current RN license or Compact license
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required; 2 years preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Neuro skills highly preferred
• EP/advanced cardiac skills preferred
• Familiarity with Impella and IABP/balloon pump
• Hemodynamic monitoring and procedural sedation monitoring
• Experience with pacemaker/defib and EP-related skills preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Administer medications and care as per protocols.
• Maintain and operate specialized equipment within the Cath Lab.
• Document all care and procedures accurately in the electronic medical records.

• Orientation: 40 hours
• Onboarding: Complete all sensitive onboarding items promptly.
• RTO: All requested time off must be listed at submission.
• RN scrub color: Royal Blue
