Jarsking is a Guangzhou-based manufacturer of primary packaging for beauty, skincare, fragrance and personal care brands — glass jars and bottles, airless systems, droppers, pumps and sprayers, perfume atomizers, caps and closures — plus the secondary packaging around them.

We own the factories:

• Glass: a 60,000 m² facility with a 52-ton furnace, six production lines, and capacity for 500,000 bottles a day
• Plastic: 20 injection molding machines, 8 blow molding machines, and 3 tube lines producing 500,000 units a day
• Decoration and finishing: 9,500 m² of decoration and metallization facilities, 200+ specialized technicians, 20 silk screen units and 10 hot stamping machines
• Secondary packaging: a 10,000 m² carton facility, so gift sets and outer packs come from the same accountable partner

These are extended by 300+ qualified partner facilities working to a single quality standard.

Owning the tooling and the lines is why we can go from sketch to 3D rendering in hours, why we hold 30,000+ ready-to-use molds, and why our sampling doesn't wait in someone else's queue. We work across OEM, ODM and OBM, run in-house compatibility, thermal shock, UV aging, salt spray, drop, torque and glass stress testing, and operate from BSCI-audited factories. Our sustainability work is the practical kind: PCR resins, refillable pods and cartridges, mono-material design for recycling, and high-evacuation airless systems.

We already supply US beauty brands and contract manufacturers from Guangzhou. This role builds our commercial presence on the ground.

The Role

This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role. You carry the number and run the accounts yourself — prospecting, RFQs, technical meetings with packaging engineers, pricing, negotiation, and staying accountable for the program once it is in production. There is no team to manage.

We are hiring at Key Account Manager (KAM) or Key Account Director (KAD) level. Title and pay are set by experience.

You will also be the translation layer between US brand teams working to launch calendars, and our engineering and production teams in Guangzhou working to tooling and production schedules. The people who do well here are usually good at that translation, not only at selling.

What You'll Do

• New business development. Find and close packaging programs with prestige, masstige and indie beauty brands, and with turnkey contract manufacturers — concentrated in New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles and Miami, but not limited to them. Expect this to be most of your time in the first year.
• Key account management. Own each account from first RFQ through repeat orders, working with packaging development, packaging engineering and procurement teams.
• Technical selling. Present custom molds, glass bottle and jar design, decoration (silk screen, hot stamping, metallization, spray coating) and airless and dispensing systems — with enough depth to discuss wall thickness, draft angles, compatibility testing, MOQs and tooling lead times.
• Commercial terms. Quotations, pricing structures, landed cost and DDP, MSAs and payment terms. You will have revenue and gross margin targets, real latitude, and real accountability for what you sign.
• The Guangzhou bridge. Work directly with our design, project development and manufacturing teams to keep custom programs on spec, on budget and on the launch date the brand committed to.
• Sustainability positioning. Many US brands are re-engineering packaging against PCR content targets and refill commitments. Our PCR, refillable and design-for-recycling capability opens doors — you will use it.

What We're Looking For

Required

• 6+ years of supplier-side B2B sales, business development or key account management in packaging, including 4+ years selling primary packaging to beauty, cosmetics, skincare, fragrance or personal care brands.
• Currently in, or within the last 12 months, a hands-on sales, BD or key account role in beauty or cosmetic packaging.
• Direct product knowledge of primary beauty packaging components — glass bottles and jars, airless systems, pumps and sprayers, droppers, caps and closures, compacts or tubes — sold to brand owners.
• Active working relationships with packaging development, packaging engineering or procurement contacts at US beauty brands or contract manufacturers — people you could meet with this quarter.
• Based in the United States and authorized to work here without sponsorship.

Preferred

• A multi-million-dollar RFQ or annual supply program you personally won with a US beauty or personal care brand.
• A book of business of $3M+ in annual revenue that you personally managed.
• Experience working with a China- or Asia-based manufacturing supply chain: factory engagement, tooling timelines, sampling, quality escalations.
• Technical knowledge of glass forming and decoration, injection molding tooling, pump and sprayer mechanisms, or compatibility and stability testing.
• Located in or near New York / New Jersey, Los Angeles or Miami.

This role is probably not the right fit if your recent years have been mainly spent managing a sales team rather than running accounts yourself.

How You'll Work

• Remote, with real travel. About 30% — brand and customer visits, industry events (Luxe Pack New York, MakeUp in NewYork, Cosmoprof North America), and two trips a year to our Guangzhou facilities.
• Across time zones. Our engineering and production teams are in Guangzhou, so expect some early-morning or late-evening calls most weeks, particularly during active tooling programs. We would rather tell you now than have you find out in month two.
• With autonomy. Short decision paths and direct access to Jarsking leadership.

Compensation & Benefits

• Key Account Manager: base salary $120,000 – $150,000
• Key Account Director: base salary $150,000 – $180,000
• Plus uncapped commission tied to revenue and gross margin. Final offer depends on experience and location.
