Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and capabilities.
• Create personalized treatment plans based on detailed assessments, which include strategies tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and other modalities to maximize patient recovery and comfort.
• Instruct patients on proper body mechanics, rehabilitation techniques, and injury prevention strategies to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment plans based on individual responses to therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes in an electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain accurate and confidential patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with diverse patient demographics ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients requiring rehabilitation after surgery. Our team focuses on conditions like back and neck pain, joint issues, post-operative recovery, and balance disorders. You will play a pivotal role in restoring function and enhancing the quality of life for individuals at varying stages of rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, showcasing a proficiency in treating a variety of conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to apply advanced physical therapy techniques and modalities effectively.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, enabling comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in specialized treatment techniques, such as orthopedic therapy, postoperative rehabilitation, and sports injury management.
• Experience in electronic documentation and familiarity with rehabilitation software is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
