Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in a home care setting. You will work directly with patients in their homes, providing individualized therapy that allows for comfort and effectiveness in treatment. The work environment encourages autonomy as you develop treatment plans and foster meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Administer targeted therapeutic interventions that improve movement and alleviate pain, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy and exercise programming.
• Maintain a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each session is productive and focused on achieving rehabilitation objectives.
• Educate patients and their families on best practices for recovery, preventative measures, and self-management strategies to support lasting improvement.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and share insights about treatment progress.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with all policies and practices.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their therapy sessions, helping them to stay engaged and committed to their rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on patients with orthopedic conditions requiring rehabilitation. You will work with individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions, supporting their journey to regain mobility, strength, and daily functionality.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing functional exercise plans tailored to individual patient capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, particularly in home care scenarios.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, is highly advantageous for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing evidence-based interventions in rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, coupled with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
