Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Port Elizabeth. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
• Regularly communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive and continuous patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system daily, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Utilize independent clinical judgment to select and apply appropriate therapeutic techniques and interventions based on patient assessment outcomes.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, effectively communicating any changes to the patient and healthcare team.
• Adhere to federal and state guidelines regarding physical therapy practice, ensuring all procedures are conducted in a safe and ethical manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Compassion Elevated Therapy, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain. Our clients include individuals of all ages, from athletes seeking rehabilitation to seniors recovering from joint replacements. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping them regain mobility, strength, and independence, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in orthopedic care, with a solid understanding of rehabilitation techniques and patient management.
• Proficiency in conducting orthopedic assessments and devising effective treatment plans that yield measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong organizational abilities.

Compensation and Benefits
