We’re looking for friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented baristas who enjoy working with people and take pride in preparing high-quality drinks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day café operations and ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Lead, support, and supervise baristas and mochi production team members throughout daily operations.
• Help train new team members on RICHE. recipes, service standards, food safety procedures, and operating routines.
• Maintain consistent standards for beverage preparation, mochi production, presentation, and customer service.
• Monitor workflow and assign daily tasks based on staffing and operational needs.
• Manage opening and/or closing procedures and ensure required tasks are completed properly.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist the team during busy periods as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels for matcha, coffee, milk, ingredients, packaging, and other café supplies.
• Assist with inventory counts, ordering, receiving deliveries, and communicating supply needs.
• Ensure the café, bar, prep areas, equipment, and customer areas remain clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, labeling, temperature control, and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Operate and oversee POS and cash-handling procedures and help resolve transaction or customer-service issues.
• Communicate equipment, maintenance, staffing, inventory, or operational issues promptly.
• Help maintain a positive, respectful, and accountable team environment.
• Work closely with ownership to continuously improve café operations, workflow, product quality, and customer experience.

Requirements

• Weekend availability.
• Previous café, restaurant, or food-service management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Previous barista or specialty café experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with commercial espresso equipment and beverage preparation is a plus.
• Food Protection Manager Certification required; candidates must be willing to obtain required food-safety certification if needed. Training/guidance will be provided.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable supervising and training team members while also working hands-on when needed.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, inventory, and daily café operations preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Able to maintain consistent standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of cleanliness, sanitation, and food-safety practices.
• Availability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including opening and/or closing shifts as needed.
