Our normal business hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensurings you have time to recharge after your work day.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms in clients diagnosed with mood disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize their specific needs and psychiatric goals.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively treat mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their knowledge and coping skills.
\n
• Continuously monitor and document clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary modifications to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Engage closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to provide integrated and comprehensive care, ensuring holistic treatment approaches.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic techniques and interventions.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans to comply with legal and ethical standards in mental health service delivery.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to continuously improve clinical skills and knowledge.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting de-stigmatization of mental health issues while addressing their unique concerns and treatment needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, taking into account their cultural, social, and personal contexts to provide personalized care that resonates with their individual experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment models for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Strong foundational knowledge of psychopharmacology, enhancing collaboration with psychiatrists and care providers.

• Documented success in achieving positive patient outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.
