CASE MANAGER (LMSW)

Responsibilities JOIN OUR TEAM! Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a PRN Licensed Case Manager. The Case Manager provides quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to Spring Mountain’s populations. They serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary team supporting the hospital’s treatment program and philosophy and assure the delivery of quality treatment to patients and their family members. The Case Manager provides social histories, discharge planning, case management and psycho-educational/process groups to age specific populations. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously under pressure. Attends educational sessions to continually update knowledge base related to behavioral health and social work issues. Conducts psychosocial assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues for treatment focus by interviewing the patient and their family members. Coordinates referrals for services and utilizes interpersonal skills to maximize excellent customer service, safe patient care and professionalism. Works with Discharge Planner to develop, implement and document a safe discharge plan. Provides group and family process-oriented therapies as well as conducts educational and other groups for patients and family members using various professional treatment modalities. Performs other duties as assigned. ABOUT SPRING MOUNTAIN TREATMENT CENTER: Spring Mountain Behavioral Services has provided mental health services to the Las Vegas community since 2001, treating children, teens, adults and senior adults with behavioral health or addiction issues. We offer a supportive and healthy environment with 24-hour care that allows people of all ages to make positive changes in their lives. Our primary location, Spring Mountain Treatment Center, focuses on the stabilization of acute symptoms for patients age 5 to 65, along with select outpatient care programs for teens. Our secondary location, Spring Mountain Sahara, houses our Adult Outpatient and Senior Adult Inpatient programs. Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility that provides acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting. Our individualized treatment includes a structured, therapeutic environment, intensive physician involvement and oversight, and daily group and educational programs. We provide a caring and healthy environment that gives individuals a chance to make positive changes. Qualifications REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Master's degree in social work Current licensure in the State of Nevada; also acceptable licensure: CSW‑I, LCSW Experience with age‑specific inpatient setting preferred Experience in taking psychosocial history and case management Knowledge of developmental psychology of adolescent and adults and have the capacity to identify pertinent clinical information Possess knowledge of clinical issues related to mental health patients and their discharge planning New hires are required to attend 1 full week of New Employee Orientation on day shift, normally 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday Must successfully pass background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check) and drug screen EEO STATEMENT All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
